Right now the boat is available only to guests staying at Balboa Bay Resort. Two hours on Newport Harbor in water heated up to 104°F, and you drive.

$495 for the boat, up to 6 guests. $300 security deposit, refunded after your rental if there's no damage.

- Two hours, Friday to Sunday at 11:00am, 2:30pm or 6:00pm
- Leaves from the dock at 1221 West Coast Hwy
Check-in
- Come down to the dock 15 minutes before your departure. There's a restroom and a changing room right there, so you can walk over in regular clothes.
- Whoever drives needs to be 21 or older and stays sober. No boating license or experience is needed.
- You'll get a full orientation and safety briefing before you leave the dock, and there are life vests for everyone.
- Want the water cooler? Tell us at check-in. It heats up to 104°F and we can set it lower.

- Towel and dry clothes for afterward
- Sunscreen for daytime departures
- A warm layer for the 6:00pm slot
- Your own food and drinks, in cans or plastic (no glass)
- A phone with music for the Bluetooth speaker
